The 2016 VRCLP Regional Leadership Summit

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the

VRCLP 2016 Regional Leadership Summit

We kick off on the evening of the 16th August
with an Elegant Welcome

The Elegant Welcome is designed with you, the delegate, in mind as an opportunity to network with other delegates and enjoy some light entertainment, tapas and drinks. The night will be hosted by Lauren Andrews, Regional and Rural Affairs Strategist Bendigo and Adelaide Bank.
The summit will open at 8:00am for a 9:00 am start on Wednesday 17th August.
Under the theme “Innovative, Collaborative, Responsive COMMUNITIES” VRCLP16 brings together some of the top leaders and practitioners from across Australia, each of them ready to share their thinking, their plans and their knowledge with us. Topics will include:
  • “Leadership Narrative – Talk on Purpose” Carolyn Tate, The Slow School of Business
  • “Community Resilience” Rob Milton, Flexor
  • “Thinking Outside the Square” Karen Corr, Make a Change Australia
  • “Technology: Making it Work For You” Tim Gentle
The Regional Leadership Summit will involve an exciting program of information exchange, networking, celebration, stakeholder and vendor relationship development.
We encourage you to join us at the All Seasons Hotel, Bendigo, Victoria and look forward to connecting with you during VRCLP16.

Also joining us for the summit

  • Peter Kenyon – Bank of I.D.E.A.S
    An international community and economic development consultancy based in Kalamunda, Western Australia; facilitating fresh and creative ways that stimulate community and local economic renewal.
  • Matt Pfahlert – ACRE
    A ‘for purpose’ organisation based in Beechworth, Victoria committed to building thriving rural communities through igniting entrepreneurship in young people and their communities.

 The summit will conclude with a panel, moderated by James Ritchie
