Insurance and risk specialist Gallagher partners with the Victorian Regional Community Leadership Program
[6 June 2018] Major Australian insurance broker Gallagher has partnered with the Victorian Regional Community Leadership Program (VRCLP) to offer risk management advice and insurance solutions to its members and alumni.
VRCLP is a non-profit member organisation that aims to strengthen the leadership credentials of individuals across regional Victoria in order to positively impact local communities. More than 3500 leaders have graduated from Regional Community Leadership Programs across Victoria.
Gallagher, meanwhile, has a network of nearly 30 regional and metropolitan branches across Australia – including 7 across Victoria – giving a unique perspective on the risks faced by business owners and homeowners in regional communities.
As well as a broad range of business and personal insurance solutions, Gallagher is also offering all VRCLP members and alumni a free no-obligation insurance review to ensure they have adequate protection for their key assets.
Chief Executive Officer of VRCLP, Katrina Baddeley, said that the partnership with Gallagher provides a valuable opportunity for members and alumni to gain relevant and timely access to insurance advice that is specifically tailored to the challenges they face in their local areas.
“VRCLP is committed to ensuring we partner with organisations who offer knowledge, expertise and leadership advice to our members and their communities,” said Ms Baddeley. “Gallagher’s footprint in Victoria means our members can access that knowledge base from those who truly understand regional risks.”
Gallagher’s National Affinity Manager, Jamie Lansdown, added: “Regional Victorian businesses face unique challenges, including a range of natural disasters from bushfires to heavy storms. This puts the onus on business owners having the right level and right type of insurance cover in place to ensure they are financially positioned to survive any loss event.
“That’s what we’re here to do. As well as providing the right cover, we can review current insurance programs to make sure they’re fit for purpose and to help people avoid common pitfalls such as underinsurance, which can be devastating in the event of a major claim.”
VRCLP members can also access a range of free and discounted products and services to help them boost their business through Gallagher’s Access1st Professional Benefits program. The provider network incorporates free legal advice, digital marketing and web development services, graphic design, airport lounge membership, HR and business consultancy and much more.
