In her role as CEO Kat has the pleasure of traversing rural and regional areas experiencing first-hand the passion and power of participants and alumni who live, work, create, collaborate and invest in their communities.
Kat brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning, organisational design, human resource management, program design and implementation. Kat possesses strong research, analytic and evaluation skills and enjoys learning new technology to encourage best practice thinking and efficiencies across organisations she works with. Her current passion is learning all there is to learn about social impact measurement.
With a passion for building resilience in her community Kat demonstrates this through her work as a volunteer board director across a number of diverse boards.
Kat holds a Masters of Business Administration and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
In her spare time Kat loves spending time with her husband Mark travelling the World and catching up with her three adult children Kyle, Janessa and Nathan
Shelley has more than 25 years’ experience working in media, marketing and communications roles across a wide variety of mediums. She has worked in government and private enterprise as well as television, radio and newspaper and has extensive experience in brand management, digital marketing and strategic communications.
Shelley has worked closely with VRCLP for more than 3 years, assisting with the development and delivery of the organisation’s communications strategies.
Rebecca is professional bookkeeper with over 7 years’ experience who is passionate about providing excellent customer service. She currently runs her own small business providing bookkeeping and office management services for businesses in the Ballarat area. She is a hard working professional with strong attention to detail.
Rebecca loves to travel and has lived abroad, but being a Ballarat native has settled back home to be closer to her family. Her spare time is spent with her retired racehorse on the family property.
